So 2016 reaches it’s end and, quite frankly, I’ll be glad to see the back of it. Besides the crazy political situation, it’s been a really the most testing year personally. I’ve done almost nothing else beyond work and the constant drive to push the business onwards caused quite some considerable damage to my personal life in so many ways. I’ve been to some dark places in the last year, pushing my emotional and physical health beyond what is normal or tolerable.
There are things I’ll regret about 2016 but it’s gone now and I just need to learn from them and not look back. I’ve realised what I’ve got. 2017 will be better.
I’ve also realised that I have some fantastic friends who have jumped in at exactly the right time (I hope you know who you are) and wonderful children who have kept me firmly grounded. Thank you.
Onwards and upwards, love you all.
Happy New Year. X
